$10 Bill—Surfer Girl

One day, the fearless Surfer Girl grabbed her best board, and paddled to the middle of the LEGO Wave Pool. She surfed the tallest wave the LEGOLAND Water Park had ever seen.  Surfer Girl hung 10 on a swell that stood 10 feet high! And that’s why she’s on the 10 dollar bill.

$5 Blake—The Drivertwitter_6

One day, Blake took his driving test at the Ford Junior Driving School. He passed, with neither a bump nor a scratch! Blake became the youngest kid ever to get his LEGOLAND driver’s license—at only 5 years old! And that’s why he’s on the 5 dollar bill!

$1 Bill The Explorertwitter_10

While exploring a frontier a frontier we now call Florida, The Explorer came upon the greatest land he had ever explored! It’s where they eventually built LEGOLAND Florida—which makes him one of the greatest explorers in the world! And that’s why he’s on the $1 Dollar Bill.

LEGOLAND Florida Foodie Blog: February Edition

For this month’s Foodie Blog we decided to switch things up a bit! We asked Buddy’s Brick Bunch to share with everyone their favorite snacks and restaurants at LEGOLAND Florida. As young advisors and kid reporters on a variety of items related to LEGOLAND Florida, they are quite the experts when it comes to the park! Check out what they recommend to other park guests.

Buddy & friends walking Miniland

A favorite place to dine among the park guests is Pizza & Pasta Buffet; it is also a favorite among Buddy’s Brick Bunch! This all-you-can-eat buffet is Alexander’s favorite restaurant because “the pizza is delicious and cheesy”. Angela says she always eats pepperoni pizza when she visits the park. Buddy’s Brick Bunch also suggests trying the cinnamon bread sticks for dessert.  Another favorite choice is a restaurant located in LEGO City. “I love the Fried Chicken Co. restaurant. The chicken and fries are tasty!” says Aiden.

Out of the many snacking options found at LEGOLAND Florida, Alek’s favorite quick snack item is popcorn, which can be found in LEGO Technic and LEGO Kingdoms. On a hot summer day, Alexander loves to indulge in a slushy from Fun Town Slushy. Sounds like a tasty way to cool off in the Florida sun! Aiden chose Ice Cream from Sunny’s Ice Cream Shop in Fun Town. Creating your own sundae makes the ice cream treat even better! For a healthy snacking option, Angela recommends the apple and grape fruit packs found around the park.

At LEGOLAND Florida, we offer special dietary options. Alek recommends checking the LEGOLAND Florida website or the signage around the park to see which dining options have allergy-free meals. LEGOLAND offers gluten-free meals as well, and Alexander’s favorite is Granny’s Apple Fries because he can share them with his whole family!
