LEGOLAND Florida Resort is known for its colorful LEGO models found throughout the park, an AWESOME Water Park that includes fan-favorites Joker Soker and Build-a-Raft River and for the 50 rides, shows and attractions that make families come back time and time again.
But what a lot of people don’t know is that LEGOLAND is extremely compliant with children who are disabled, reinforcing the point that there is something at the park for all families who visit.
“We want to make sure that all of our guests, including families who have disabled children, have a great time here at the park,” said LEGOLAND Florida Resort Public Relations Rep. Chris Jones. “This includes making sure that our various aspects, including food, rides and shows, are friendly to all who visit, regardless of their disability.”
So how does LEGOLAND live up to this important topic?
1) Our shops, restaurants, show venues and a majority of the attractions here at LEGOLAND Florida Resort are accessible to guests who use wheelchairs or are in need of special services. Before going into the park, families can stop into Guest Services for a full run down on everything they would want to know about specific requests they may have before beginning their day.
2) A family member has dietary restrictions? Not a problem. All of our restaurants have different options, including gluten free, egg free, soy free and veggie choices that make life a lot easier while trying to find what to eat.
3) The park offers a ‘Hero Pass’ for those who may have difficulty waiting in line. This allows the guest assigned the pass immediate boarding through the exit with one helper! Families can also reserve a time later on in the day to come back as a group and cut through the lines.
