July 4 – 6, 2014 – Come and join us for Red, Brick & Boom at LEGOLAND® Florida!

LEGOLAND® Florida will celebrate the 4th of July with a big bang for the Independence Day event – Red, Brick & Boom from July 4-6. 2012.02.07_LEGOLAND_ADSHOOT_246_small

To get in the mood you should definitely join the “Super Brick” American Flag Build, built out of hundreds of LEGO® bricks on July 4, while listening to some patriotic anthems! You don’t want to miss the Scavenger Hunt and see what’s hidden in MINILAND to win a LEGO Prize pack and much more! You can pick-up and return your entry form at the LEGO Studio Store in FUN TOWN. Be certain to watch out for a Competition Build in the IMAGINATION ZONE from 10:00am – 6:00pm, where guests can build the best patriotic-themed LEGO model on July 4. On July 5 and 6 the Building Competition will continue with a special LEGO Movie theme!

To top it off LEGOLAND Florida will have extended hours during these three nights! Don’t miss the “AWESOME” Fireworks Show inspired by The LEGO Movie in Pirates Cove at 9:00pm, including such hits as “Everything is Awesome!” Grab your special 3D glasses in Pirates Cove starting at 8:00pm and just enjoy the moment. With those special glasses you can see ordinary fireworks turning into millions of exploding LEGO bricks. This is definitely sure to dazzle and delight! Red, Brick and Boom is included with park admission.

The Best Ways to Beat the Summer Heat at LEGOLAND Florida!

The Florida summer heat is just around the corner and the best way to enjoy time outdoors is to be prepared! We want to help you make the most out of your visit to LEGOLAND Florida with some tips on how to beat the summer heat here in the park.

  1. Stand under one of our Cool Zones!

Various Cool Zones are located throughout the park for your cooling pleasure with overhead misting fans to give you the refresh you need on a hot day.

  1. Head over to World of Chima

Unleash the power and battle with water cannons to defend the mystical energy source, CHI. Meet Laval and Cragger, splash and play in Cragger’s Swamp!BTHBlog1

  1. Spend some time in DUPLO Valley

DUPLO Valley, our newest addition, has a few different ways to help you beat the heat. The Splash and Play area is a perfect place for kids to run through the water and have fun while cooling down. DUPLO Barn is an indoor playground, complete with air conditioning.

  1. Enjoy an indoor show or ride

The Imagination Zone, our 4D Theater, Pharaohs’ Revenge, Lost Kingdom Adventure, Fresh From Florida Greenhouse…just to name a few!

  1. Take a break and go shopping or enjoy a snack indoors

Most of our dining spaces have shaded or indoor seating. Refuel with some tasty snacks, cold beverages and enjoy the indoors or shop for some of your favorite LEGO products.

  1. Walk through Cypress Gardens

LEGOLAND Florida is proud to be part of history and preserving Cypress Gardens. Not only can you enjoy some awesome shade but you can also stroll through the beautiful gardens the area has been home to since 1936.

LEGOLAND Florida opens DUPLO Valley!

It’s a very exciting time for us here at LEGOLAND Florida! We have expanded the park with a new addition, DUPLO Valley.  Now our 2-5 year old guests will have even more to do on their visit with us.

New attractions at DUPLO Valley include a train, a mini tractor ride, and a water play area. The central feature is the DUPLO Train where toddlers can board a train on their own or with their parents to explore countryside-themed scenery passing through farms, fishing holes and campgrounds. Just across the way, toddlers can jump on a tractor just their size and help the farmers plow the cornfields and hunt for missing farm animals.photo

For those looking to cool off, the new splash and play area will be refreshingly fun with intermittent water spouts and interactive water elements set among larger than life farm animals with a soft deck for safety.  The DUPLO Snack Bar will have caramel popcorn, regular popcorn, water and soda available for purchase.

The Baby Care Center, presented by Winter Haven Hospital, provides a nursing and changing area, a cell phone charging station, bottle warming and more! Located inside the Duplo Farm.

Guests can also purchase the new ‘Preschool Pass’, including weekday (Monday-Friday) admission to LEGOLAND Florida and standard parking for both one child under five and one adult for a full year at $90, plus tax. Assigned to the child, the pass allows an adult parent or guardian to attend the park with the toddler. The pass is transferrable to multiple adults in the family, allowing, for example, a mother to visit one day, and a grandparent the next, making it ideal for families to bring their little ones to LEGOLAND Florida during the week.

Below are the height restrictions for each ride in DUPLO Valley:

  • DUPLO Splash & Play: No height requirement
  • DUPLO Farm: No height requirement
  • DUPLO Train: Guests under 34” must ride with a responsible person 48” or taller, guests 34” and above may ride the DUPLO Train unaccompanied
  • DUPLO Tractor: Guests 36”-48” can ride with a responsible person 48” or taller, guests 48” and above can ride the DUPLO Tractor unaccompanied

Florida Resident Annual Pass and other new options at LEGOLAND Florida!

What is the best way to enjoy a year of fun at both LEGOLAND Florida and LEGOLAND Water Park? Well, if you are a Florida resident, the new Florida Resident Pass is your ticket! With unlimited admission to both parks with no blackout dates, as well as admission to 12 top Merlin US attractions, free parking, discounts on food and merchandise and special events, what more could you want? How about a convenient monthly payment plan? We’ve included that too!

The new Florida Resident Annual Pass is just $159 per adult or $129 per child or senior, a $20 savings compared to the Merlin Annual Pass USA, which has the same benefits for non-Florida residents. Florida residents can also purchase this new pass using a convenient monthly payment option, with payments of less than $10 per month before tax, after down payment.

The monthly payment plan for an adult Florida resident pass is $57.24 down, with payments of $9.26 per month for the remaining 11 months, and for children or seniors the down payment is $46.44 down, with payments of $7.51 per month, plus tax! That means a family of 4 can enjoy a year at both LEGOLAND Florida and LEGOLAND Water Park for less than $40 per month for 11 months.

This great offer can be purchased online or in the park, and you can also upgrade to the Florida resident pass from your admission ticket.

For everyone else who wants to enjoy a year of LEGOLAND fun, we also have 4 more Annual Pass options for you!

· The Standard Annual Pass gets you a year of unlimited admission to LEGOLAND Florida with no blackout dates for $99 per child/senior or $129 per adult.

· The Senior Garden Pass gives guests age 60 and up admission on weekdays, with free parking for $90 per senior.

· The Merlin Annual Pass USA now includes all Merlin US Attractions, including both LEGOLAND Florida, LEGOLAND California, both LEGOLAND Water Parks, Madame Tussauds, SEA LIFE Aquariums and LEGOLAND Discovery Centers, as well as free parking, discounts on food, merchandise and more, for $149 per child/senior or $179 per adult.

· And, for the LEGOLAND fanatic, we offer the Ambassador Pass, which includes lifetime membership to all LEGOLAND Parks, free preferred parking, discounts and an exclusive Model Builder session annually, for $2500 per person.
